Question: How many stories were in Noah’s Ark?

Road map to the answer:

💡Read Genesis Chapter 6

During this study time, I will not be

providing the specific verse so that we take the necessary time to read the full chapter.

Apostle Natasha

It’s such a NECESSITY to appreciate re-reading the Word of God time and again.

Many of us know that as we read, Holy Spirit illuminates in the Word our NEED for the moment that we’re reading it, and each time thereafter.

As I read chapter 6, verse 13 stood out to me. The Lord has been for a while now ministering to me the beauty of His ability as Creator to create as well as all that He has created in earth that many of us think very little of.

Verse 13 says, “And God said to Noah, “I have determined to make an end of all flesh; for the earth is filled with violence through them; behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”

‭‭

Earth inning of itself cannot do any wrong, it cannot harm itself or work against itself because that’s not what it was created to do. However, the inhabitants of the earth from the time of the garden have been given dominion over the earth to govern it and what we see in chapter 6 is the reality of our lives today.

Notice that the Lord says that He will use earth to destroy them! WHEW- 😮‍💨 many places see that often and it looks now as it did then, what’s now called a “Natural disaster” but biblically it’s God allowing the inhabitants of the earth to be destroyed by it… MY GOD TODAY!

Question: Therefore since we have been justified through faith, have have _____ with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Road map to the answer:

💡Read Romans Chapter 5

During this study time, I will not be

providing the specific verse so that we take the necessary time to read the full chapter.

Apostle Natasha

Immediately upon reading this chapter, verse 1 stands out immensely!

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,”

‭‭

I often engage in word study so that I can gain greater insight, wisdom, and revelation as I study to show myself approved unto God.

The word “justified” means in many terms “just as if I’d never done it”. It’s a process that nullifies the act and commission of guilt.

Synonyms for “justified” are words like:

Defend

Answer for

Vindicate

Uphold

Sustain

Establish

Legitimize

Account for

Confirm

Validate

And “FAITH” does these things for us!

Faith is the complete trust or confidence in something or someone.

So because of our “complete” or “absolute” trust in Christ, we are LEGITIMIZED!

I believe this is a spiritual truth that we as a whole are not and have not learned how to effectively apply to our lives.

Road map to the answer:

💡Read Job Chapter 1

During this study time, I will not be

providing the specific verse so that we take the necessary time to read the full chapter.

Apostle Natasha

As many times as I’ve read Job, TODAY the eyes of my understanding have been opened to verse 5.

The level of understanding that Job had regarding the impact and implications of the SEED of the woman is beyond profound.

How often or how consistently do we consecrate our children just in case they have sinned and cursed God? WOW—

I often in prayer will resubmit my king's decree that my household and my children have been given back to God for His good works in not just me but in them.

But this verse says AT ALL SUCH times Job would consecrate his children before the Lord!

I know that as a standard to which we live today, this is a practice and principle that MUST be deployed long-term!

Furthermore, I submit verses 21-22 which denote the beginning of Job's afflictions ordained by God and his response was WORSHIP! He worshiped in the truth that whatsoever God gives, He can very well take yet he was STILL within sin and uttered no blame towards God!

For sure, his partnership, fellowship, and intimacy with God prove GREAT in these three verses. To which I daily bring to the altar of God!

Apostle Natasha

This chapter was so RICH! As I read I took note of the disobedience exemplified by the people of God during a “TEST” of God!

We as believers don’t like to identify when we are indeed being tested by God but as I read this exact chapter in multiple translations the conclusion was the same! God was TESTING their hearts.

It’s so imperative to discern that the spirit be of God because Moses spoke to the Israelites as God! His instructions were not his own and therefore they carried not only an authoritative weight but they delegated the movement of God.

During this time, I noticed that the people picked and chose what they wanted to “OBEY”. In some instances, they listened and in others they totally disregarded Moses’ delegated authority.

As I conclude this summary of my meditation in this chapter, I can’t help but see the GOODNESS OF GOD! God’s goodness has a PROTOCOL, and it’s one that’s simple yet complex… OBEDIENCE!

As I read Luke Chapter 24, verses 30-31 stood out to me so loudly.

In our ignorances many things can only be made known as the “breaking of the bread” or the dining with God!

The two disciples had been prevented from recognizing Jesus while on the road but as they sat with Him to break bread the were given access to huge revelation of His deity and Lordship.

As I ponder this further, in passing we do not dine, yet when we sit to dine with God, He opens our eyes to what was previously hidden!

In today’s reading the verse that encouraged most was verse 38 which reads:

“Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.”

‭‭

This is certainly a posture that I have adapted in this NOW season. My desires are to surpass what I can comprehend of God. I truly want what He wants and that includes that which I am unaware of.

As I sit before the Lord to hear what He might say in response I say, “LET IT BE TO ME ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD”!!

Talk about the fear of God! Verse 5 says that the "people" proclaimed a fast because they believed God, but verse 7 drives it home for me. It says the King proclaimed and published a decree that no man, beast, herd, or flock would eat or drink. Praise God that in many instances He allows us to be a gap dweller for those who aren't even aware that they need to repent and turn back to God but here this story recounts even the beasts are made to bemoan before the Lord in anguish that He might relent. This proves that there will be instances where we must proclaim that our whole household will put on sackcloth and ashes and submit ourselves in corporate sacrifice to the Lord to see His mighty hand!

How many times have circumstance or situations in our lives caused us to have the same mindset Elijah did in verse 4?! I know that I have way too many times to count. Personally, for me, it wasn’t until I understood God’s true sovereignty that this entrapment of the spirit of fear and depression could no longer affect me the way that it had it times past.

That being said, I want to highlight that we have an example in scripture of what sometimes seems like such a lonely occurrence.

God encourages Elijah first by dealing with his exhaustion and hunger, then He reminds Elijah that it’s not as you perceive it to be! Wow— that’s a word for many of us! If we could remember that it’s NOT AS WE PERCEIVE IT TO BE we could and would escape the very plot intended to cause us to waver.

💡Read Judges Chapter 6

Apostle Natasha

As I read Judges Chapter 6, firstly I just love reading about God’s call to Gideon. It’s so relatable! We tend to think that we aren’t regarded as humans in the sight of God, as if he views us as robots.

Verse 31 presents itself after Gideon through that night tears down the altar of Baal and the Asherah beside it and made the bull sacrifice. When the men of the city awoke and realized they were informed it was Gideon the son of Joash.

This next encounter was a huge eye opener that I present for consideration. As these men confronted not Gideon but his father Joash to turn over Gideon, Joash BOLDLY says “WILL YOU PLEAD FOR BAAL??!!

If Baal is a god, let him defend himself because someone has torn down his altar!

Between God and false gods we know without doubt that there are a multitude of things that are irrefutable in the case in point of our TRUE God.

This statement made by Joash is a statement we all should be making in instances where we stand for Christ and one of the representative of these falses god’s attempt to render judgment, we then declare, if your god but a god let him/her respond concerning what is his.

The TRUE God who is the creator of ALL things don’t need us to render a response he can very well do that on his own, that is not so for any other inferior beings or spirits.

In today’s reading verse 36 really gave such confirmation for where the Lord has drawn me to up on His holy hill to wait & watch!

For many of us, being spiritually alert is not practiced yet for the same many, they are proclaiming their entrance to heaven.

Spiritual alertness requires more than the blessings of meals, being thankful for the start and end of every day. It requires a great responsibility to and in prayer and intercession.

Not all are called to intercede but we ALL are called to prayer. Prayer is the crux of spiritual relationship with our Triune God.

Being spiritually alert is not a worldly practice nor is it widely taught in enough households of faith.

In 2 John, verse 5 really jumped off the page for me. This is something that is supposed to distinguish us from the world! Not a new commandment but one that has been given to us from the beginning, LOVE. How do we as a people resemble our Creator who is love without exemplifying His DNA? Of course, many of us have a skewed perception of love that we learned along the way in life however if we truly master God’s agape love (given without condition or bias) the world as we know it would have no choice but to be transformed!

In 3 John, the verse that resonated so greatly for me was verse 11. Unconsciously, many imitate what is evil. The thing is, attempting to define evil by worldly standards with always have us at enmity with God! In the AMP verse of scripture it says “do not imitate evil” and “the one who practices good” the two words imitate and practice are key in this verse. Good has to be practiced while evil can be imitated! How easy it is to imitate the evils of this world, it’s all around us! But the instruction to practice good, exhibiting godly character, moral courage, and personal integrity further identifies that we must apply repeatedly God’s nature!
