Happy Studying! @Everyone
It’s such a NECESSITY to appreciate re-reading the Word of God time and again.
Many of us know that as we read, Holy Spirit illuminates in the Word our NEED for the moment that we’re reading it, and each time thereafter.
As I read chapter 6, verse 13 stood out to me. The Lord has been for a while now ministering to me the beauty of His ability as Creator to create as well as all that He has created in earth that many of us think very little of.
Verse 13 says, “And God said to Noah, “I have determined to make an end of all flesh; for the earth is filled with violence through them; behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
Earth inning of itself cannot do any wrong, it cannot harm itself or work against itself because that’s not what it was created to do. However, the inhabitants of the earth from the time of the garden have been given dominion over the earth to govern it and what we see in chapter 6 is the reality of our lives today.
Notice that the Lord says that He will use earth to destroy them! WHEW- 😮💨 many places see that often and it looks now as it did then, what’s now called a “Natural disaster” but biblically it’s God allowing the inhabitants of the earth to be destroyed by it… MY GOD TODAY!
