Welcome to a moment of Prophetic insight as we reflect on various tongues from Apostle Tash's #Tonguetalk series.
Today, our focus is on the "meddling tongue," a form of communication employed to intrude into others' matters for selfish reasons.
Unlike gossip, meddlers directly confront their targets with probing questions, often lacking genuine concern but aiming to pass judgment. Have you ever found yourself inquiring about someone's expenses, employment status, health issues, family plans, or body weight?
These inquiries, typical of meddlers, serve no purpose in fostering mutual support or understanding.
While some level of meddling occurs within family dynamics, I urge everyone to pray when faced with such intrusive questions. The Bible, in 1 Peter 4:15 (NLT), categorizes meddling as a sin akin to "murder, stealing, and troublemaking." We only need to know what is truly beneficial to enhance our ability to love, serve, and support our fellow believers in Christ.
